Grass dewy breezes leak the corner of midnight

Faint crickets ballet through their own echoes~

Quiet thickens in slated blues,

Stars transcend beyond the dew,

A quaint sudden chillness

Transfixed in pure stillness.

Then...

Surrounded...

Flying diamonds,

Stars from heavenly heights,

shinning, shimmering,

cascading...

then~

dim-in-ish-ing.

Forever and again I know this show,

Breath of wonderment

spilling to

piles of emptiness.

Brilliance displayed,

seemingly...

just to~

dis-si-pate.

than...

a left behind light~

from a faded

star.

Views through hues of rainbow poses

lest her heart befit this realm~

A cameo of gardenia blooms,

blushed roses near ruby kissed lips.

Soft coos flow from the voice of this dove,

as she speaks through scented honey~

She moves in rhythms of kindness

by rhyming sways of serenity.

Her thoughts, simple petals~

paving trails to caring places,

docile hopes of grace,

her soul is as gentle as her face.

and she sleeps...

with her wings tenderly folded under her soften cheeks,

while drifts of sweetness

leave her breathing sighs.

Darwin's Darling Effervescent Evolving

"house-wife-type"

you know,

(just popped out the second kid, "Betty Cock-Doo"

with high waist-ed jeans)

wobbling, stroller pushing... loitering preschool driveways,

Play pen - clucking away chicks

Lumped together "look-a-likes"

Herds that gather and graze

Constant Chomping...

chattering primate gibberish

steady petty picking, subjective essays.

A barn yard feast of vacant venting-

all about "room-mom" type stuff

(the trouble you Don't Have to Have)

amusement to pass the chicken scratching.

Watch closely now,

the still hunt,

they moo their heads...

browed with sheepish concern and calculated eggy comments,

flour and milk for that "friendship cake"

the one they bake and serve... each other.

The one they graze on.

As I pass...

Gander Goose stops dead in her tracks, with that puritan stare...

(the disguised stalk-walk, with ruffled feathers)

guarding her "goosey, cheesy, honky, hen-pecked fanny farm"

just to let you know,

I do like you in your Bermuda Shorts,

(even though I wouldn't wear them)

and after this poem purge,

I promise not to judge,

meanwhile,

you'll hover and loom--

watching and squawking me.

Crickets, shadows, branches bow

at nine eleven

Tickles, giggles, ballet spins
Freckles, speckles, dimpled grins
Tasseled curls and crinkled noses
Dressed up games and model poses
Googled eyes on twisted faces
Dirty socks with untied laces
Sweaty kisses, belly laughs
Overflowing bubble baths
Silly willies- giddy glows
Precious little piggy toes
Running leaps for jumping hugs
Slimy frogs and beetle bugs
Bouncing on a frumpy bed
Laughs and cries of bumping heads
Twirling, whirling, flop and drop
Busy, dizzy, never stop
Hide and seek so count to ten
Opps you peeked so try again
Racing tagging, squealing shrills
Rolling down green grassy hills
Fresh plucked flowers, caught off guard
Shhh... don't tell, the neighbor's yard
Songs on swings, kites on strings
Crowns on heads for kings and queens
Cuddles through a thunderstorm
Rainbow awes in perfect form
Wrestling nestling pillow throws
Prancing dancing singing shows
Groovy movies, popcorn floor
Snuggles, snickers, love galore
An amazing sky with glass in hand~
Yes, I'd do it all again.

If Only

If only I painted you Monets of warmth

from the heat of my heart to behold,

We'd frolic the world by a silvery swirl

combing crystalline rays of pure gold.

If only you'd unmask your eyes for to see

the truest of dreams to bestow,

We'd swoon to the tunes by the gleams of the moon

dancing whispered delights none could know.

If only you'd offer a glimpse of your core

from the treasured inhumes of your soul,

Forever we'd savor the blooms of true love

lest we die by our hearts never whole,

If only red tears from the blood of my being

could smite echoes of sadness afloat,

We could swing past the doom of our fate now foreseen

Yet I did... and you saw...

And you won't.

Shy Clouds

Shy clouds blush sunsets

they float coyly past the moon

with wind blown kisses

Fly Away

leaving plume of tears

gliding sparrow flees in flight

to a carefree moon

Still Standing

Shrinking violet stands

windy gale and torrent rains

couldn’t break her down

Feel

Always smell the blooms

forever view starry skies

But, still feel what’s real

UnFolding

destiny unfolds

watching colors meld and blend

forming magic light

Last Straw

You know that last straw

that broke the camel's back, well….

it made mine stronger

Moonbeams

Cozy curled asleep

catching moonbeams in my dreams

to free tomorrow

There were days you had laid eyes on her,

when smiles would wade the dawn in crystal springs,

and racing the tail of love's laughter led to wrestling grounds of passion.

There are times when you had known her,

unclothed blushes- embraced by moonbeams,

spins against chafing winds

to make you grin.

Sliding to

gliding you

to no-man's dreams...

hands held your face

just for the gaze.

But now her petals wilt

and leaves wither in the frailness of life's ground,

as warm tears of could-bes

blend rainbows to melded brown,

all by your swipe,

now a worm of writhing coils.

Her curls tenderly unfurl,

she spills a chalice of wounds to melting pools of vapors,

brisk steam rushes in

passing skin

one last time.

Kissing two fingers just to lightly brush your cheek...

Farewell again~

now or then,
